What fits

Will my fifth wheel or travel trailer fit?

  • Motorhomes

Minimum

$5.00 to start the bay.

What we’ll take

No restrictions. If it fits through the door, you can wash it here.

Indoors and heated

A vacuum and a shampooer, on the same timer.

Towing through? We’re just off Highway 2 (the QEII) between Red Deer and Calgary, on the way to Edmonton, and Highway 2A runs right through town. How it works

How to wash an RV in a wand bay

It’s a self-serve bay, so you hold the wand and set the pace. A few habits make a big rig go faster and keep the decals on.

  1. Check your height

The door is 15 ft high and 12 ft wide. Measure to the top of the roof air conditioner, and call ahead if it’s close.

  2. Pull straight through

Drive in the entry door. The bay is pull-through, so nothing has to be reversed in, and there’s room to walk all the way around.

  3. Tap to start

$5.00 to start. Tap a credit or debit card at the bay and pay for the time you use, or buy a time card in the office to pay cash.

  4. Work from the top down

Rinse and wash the roof line and cap first, so dirty water runs over panels you haven’t done yet instead of ones you have.

  5. Go easy near decals and seals

Keep the wand tip back from decals, window seals and roof vents. High pressure up close can lift a decal edge or push water past a seal.

  6. Do the inside too

A vacuum and a shampooer are in the bay on the same timer, for the camper floor or the truck cab.

Questions

RV and truck wash questions

Will my fifth wheel or travel trailer fit?

If it fits through the door, you can wash it. The RV and truck bay doors are 15 feet high and 12 feet wide. Measure to the highest point, which on most RVs is the air conditioner or a vent on the roof, not the roof itself. If you are not sure, call (403) 227-0201 before you set out and we will check it against the door for you.

Do I have to back my trailer in?

No. Both RV and truck bays are pull-through, so you drive in one door and out the other. Nothing has to be reversed into the bay.

Can I wash a semi or a service truck?

Yes. There are no restrictions on what you bring, as long as it fits through a door 15 feet high and 12 feet wide. For anything long, call (403) 227-0201 first and we will tell you whether it fits the bay.

How much does it cost to wash an RV?

The RV and truck bays have a $5.00 minimum to start. After that you pay for the time you use, and once you are past the minimum you can stop and start again whenever you like. Tap a credit or debit card at the bay, or buy a time card in the office to pay with cash.

Can I wash my RV or truck in winter?

Yes. The RV and truck bays are indoors and heated, the water is hot, and they are open 7am to 8pm every day. Getting road salt off a truck or trailer is the best reason to come in during winter.

Is there a vacuum in the RV bays?

Yes. Each RV and truck bay has a vacuum and a shampooer on the same timer as the wand, so you can do the inside of a camper or the cab of a truck in the same visit.

Prices, hours and door sizes here are current as of . The prices posted at the bay are the ones that apply. Clearances are the door opening, so measure your vehicle and wash at your own risk in line with the signage on site.
